On Friday, 12th February 2016 Grameen Telecom Trust (GTT) members participated in an annual retreat program in Kaliakoyr, Gazipur where the industrial park of GTT will be established. This was the second retreat organized by GTT along with Grameen Distribution Limited (GDL) and Grameen Telecom. Ms. Parveen Mahmud (Managing Director, GTT) & Mr. Md. Ashraful Hassan (Managing Director, Grameen Telecom/Grameen Distribution Limited and CEO of GTT) participated in the event along with all the members of the three organizations.

The atmosphere was like a village fair where there were great activities like merry go round, horse riding, snake charmer, good food and snacks for everyone along with sports event like football & cricket & cultural programs like singing and dancing where all employees participated and had a great time. Later in the day, a band of professional musicians also played music which was enjoyed by everyone. The highlight of the day was the raffle draw and the prize distribution ceremony of the sports event. Members of GTT won the cricket match whereas members of GDL won the football event. Through this retreat program there was team building exercise and bonding between the employees was developed and also helped to expose the coworkers’ hidden talent.
